J. Scott Rupp has retired from Outdoor Sportsman Group after 40 years editing outdoor and shooting magazines including RifleShooter, Handguns, Petersen's Hunting, and Guns & Ammo. A former U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit member and Eastern Kentucky University graduate, Rupp plans to continue writing and photography as a freelancer.
