From reading tracks and hanging bait, to waiting through multiple mornings without taking a shot; Ghost In The Trees follows the pursuit of an old male leopard through the remote wilderness of Zambia. Every decision throughout the hunt was guided by one objective: harvest an aging male that had reached the end of his breeding life while capturing the experience with the highest quality footage possible.
The hunt also showcases the capabilities of the 12 inch Mega Fix chambered in .375 Ruger, to create a compact, maneuverable platform inside the blind. The shorter rifle and silencer made movement effortless in tight quarters while allowing clear communication between the hunter, professional hunter, and camera crew when every second mattered.
Ghost In The Trees highlights the role ethical hunting plays in wildlife conservation. By targeting only mature males that have reached the end of their breeding years, hunting revenue directly supports local communities, funds wildlife management, and creates lasting incentives to protect Africa's most iconic species.
This isn't simply a hunting film.
